You don’t have to run a haulage company to have transport compliance responsibilities. If your organisation operates HGVs or PCVs under an Operator’s Licence, the systems, processes and people behind that licence still need to work effectively.

LTS Europe provides independent transport compliance consultancy, Operator Licence audits, training and practical improvement support for Operators across Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

Our focus is not primarily on technical vehicle inspection. We look at how compliance is managed across the organisation — who is responsible, whether roles are clear, whether suitable procedures are in place, how information is recorded and escalated, whether people are competent and supported, and whether management can demonstrate that important issues are identified, acted upon and evidenced.

Where an independent Transport Compliance Audit is appropriate, we can review existing arrangements and identify areas requiring attention. Where systems are missing, outdated or inadequate, we can instead help strengthen and develop them before moving towards formal assurance.

We also support Operators who have been advised or required by the Transport Regulation Unit/Traffic Commissioner or other regulatory authorities to engage independent transport compliance support.

Transport may not be your core business.
